SWOT ANALYSIS
Strength: - technical assistance is the Mitsubishi Motors. Corporate engine with Lotus. Government linked company. Cheaper compare to Giant markets worldwide.
Weakness: - raw material used is either low quality or buy from others. Small accidents can cause to total lost of the car because of its parts structure and quality. Cant make its own engine parts and gearbox.
Opportunity :- still worthy to sell locally because of the pricing if affordable and even a normal general worker afford to buy. Spare parts are cheap and can get anywhere easily. Still have opportunities to produce high standard vehicle in performance wise, and technology wise.
Threats :- locally they have  Perodua as their  competitor. Malaysia also import car from foreign country that are more quality and high standard such as Toyota, Bmw, Mercedes,Kia, Subaru, MIstubishi, and etc.

Research on Proton logo

  • The proton 1993 logos are made up of moon and star that had been adopted from the Malaysia Flag.
  • The background is in blue colour symbolize unity. Yellow colour symbolize the  king special colour. The fourteen point star represents the 14 state in Malaysia.
  • But this logo seems to look more related to the Islamic religion because of the star and the crescent moon, so the proton car was not interested in the western country.

  • The new designed Proton logo is made up of the tiger in gold colour. Tis was created in the year  2000.
  • Gold colour Tiger represent the Harimau Malaya which means the braveness of the Malaysia to face anything and the gold colour . The blue background is still use to show the unity of Malaysians.
  • To incorporate the traits of the tiger and to unify all PROTON badges worldwide, Proton introduced a new badge in 2000.
